Kirsten and TJ's Leavenworth Engagement Session

Usually this time of year, we have snow covered hills and frozen streams.  This year was a little bit different with the warm spell we have been having but that made for a really fun Engagement Session with Kirsten and TJ in Leavenworth, WA.  Kirsten and TJ are such an awesome couple and they are gorgeous together.  It seems that these two were destined to be together because as Kirsten told us she "called dibs on him back in Middle School" and they have been together ever since.

We are super honored and excited to photograph their 2015 wedding at Karma Vineyards in Chelan, WA.

Sessions for Carlton Complex Fire Victims

A little while ago, we had the honor and pleasure of photographing families that lost almost everything in the Carlton Complex Fire that ravaged North Central Washington earlier this year.

The sessions took place at the beautiful Rio Vista Wines which is directly on the Columbia River just north of Chelan.  We were joined by hair stylist extraordinaire Lucy Rosario of Leavenworth, WA, amazing hair stylist and make-up artist Tiffany Bruehl, owner of the Hair Loft in Wenatchee, WA, and incredible photographer, Jill Fineis of Jill Fineis Photography based out of Leavenworth, WA.  There was also a special surprise from Stacia Lee of Red Barn Jewelry based out of Bellingham, WA.  She made custom necklaces for the matrons of each family!!!

We had such a great day spending time with the families, listening to stories and sharing ourselves.  Many of the stories broke our hearts but the strength and commitment to one another was incredibly inspiring.  We walked away in awe of their love for one another and for their community.  We are honored, humbled and forever grateful for having the opportunity to photograph and spend time with these families.

Mary Catherine and Darren's Engagement Session

I have know Darren for a long time now so it was such an honor to be asked to photograph Mary Catherine and Darren's Wedding next year.  We had a great time during their Engagement Session, and it was a beautiful fall day in Seattle to photograph a gorgeous couple!!!
